The publishing house Edition Walhall was founded by Franz Biersack in 1993 and is based in Magdeburg/Germany, Richard-Wagner-Straße 3.

Meanwhile, in addition to Church Music as one central field of work Vocal Music and Baroque Music (here particularly sheet music for viola da gamba, violin and trumpet) have turned out to be our other main editing focusses. We sell new and facsimile editions. Apart from this, the music-school series Learning with Fun as well as the music posters of the Editions Fuzeau are becoming more and more popular, too.

With our music shop Noten-Biersack, the Walhall team tries to give you competent advice concerning baroque music, vocal music as well choir and orchestra material. Noten-Biersack works as music dealer and will also send you sheet music from any other publisher. Price comparisons and recommendations are a matter of course for us. Please do not hesitate to contact us, when you are going to be in Magdeburg as musician on your way through or stay here for a concert performance. Phone: +49-391.85 78 20

Edition Walhall is the world-wide distributor of editions by the German publisher Edition Güntersberg specialising in music for viola da gamba and consort music as well as the British RG Editions run by the Baroque violinist Richard Gwilt (London Baroque).
