Johann Rudolph Ahle (1625-1673): Seht Euch für

sacred concerto for soprano, alto, tenor, 4 string instruments (or 4 recorder) & b. c., edited by Dr. Konrad Ruhland. Ahle was born and worked in Mühlhausen/Thüringen. He was one of the most important representatives of the so called "mitteldeutschen Cantorenmusik". "Seht Euch für" is a real rarity, because the voices are accompanied by a recorder ensemble (or "4 flauti o violin") which is very uncommon for non Christmas music at the time of Ahle. "Seht Euch für" is recorded by Masaaki Suzuki and the Bach-Orchestra Japan (Label BIS/Sweden).
