with the "Night Watchman Serenade" for [Bass ad lib.], 2 violins, 2 viols, violone & harpsichord, edited by Markus Eberhardt. Until now, the "Night Watchman Serenade" has only been available in a Denkmäler edition without performance material. In the "Ciacona," Biber conjures up the ancient figure of the Night Watchman, a role that can also be taken over (for example, in costume) by a member of the ensemble. Score & parts.
