Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750): Concerto A-Dur
 

for oboe d’amore, string instruments & b. c. (Durata: 15‘). New edition by Hans Peter Eisenmann. This work is only preserved as harpsichord concerto, but was arranged by Bach himself also for oboe d’amore. This edition is a reconstruction of the Bachian Urtext for oboe by Hans Peter Eisenmann. No notes were omitted. All parts which couldn’t accomplished by the oboe were transferred to the basso continuo. String set: 4-3-2-2-1. Please order additional parts separately.

for oboe & piano (Durata: 4‘). This beautiful composition combines impressionistic colours with the dancing diction of some Hungarian folk songs. The piece is easy to practice and is good for beginners. Zoltán Gárdonyi is one of the most important students of Paul Hindemith and Zoltán Kodály.

for oboe & organ (Durata: 7‘). The title alludes to the medieval term of a "second voice", which here is performed as a dialogue concertante of the oboe and the organ. Zsolt Gárdonyi, professor in Würzburg (Germany), designed the Duplum in two movements: the lyric entrance was followed by a bright dancing Rondo and both are reminiscences to pieces of his youth.
