This composition by the Regensburg cathedral organist was premiered in the autumn of 2015 in the cathedral of Brixen/Bressanone and can easily be mastered by any good church choir. The Mass’s harmony, which was inspired by the study of English composers, in particular of Benjamin Britten, is based on an axis of minor thirds: F–D–B–G-sharp.
